1. Tell us a bit about yourself
I've been working at the company for nearly 8 years now, and in this time I've done 3 roles in 2 different teams. I love to travel, go to concerts and spend time with my two pups as well as build lego in my spare time.
2. What does a typical day look like for you?
Reviewing workload for the team and working in conjunction with the development leads, liaising with clients and customers, strategic involvement within business operations and project management activities across accounts.
3. What inspired you to become a project manager?
I've always been an organised person who likes planning, looking ahead, and leading something from start to finish, so it fit in perfectly within the project management industry and requirements.
4. What’s one lesson from studying that has really stayed with you?
The pomodoro time management technique is a game changer to stay focused.
5. What’s one of your favourite projects you’ve worked on?
Optimising customer user journey through booking improvements, as a customer myself of the brand we worked with, it was great to see the progression and how the customers needs were put first.
6. What’s a current trend in the tech or hospitality industry that you love?
Adoption of AI to bring menus to life and enhance the customer experience.
7. If you could swap jobs with anyone on the team for a day, who would it be?
Marketing - they always have the creative flare needed for any situation.
8. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Do the tasks I hate doing first, less time to dwell and overthink, and your day ends on a high when you're doing those tasks you love.
9. What do you find hardest about working in hospitality or tech?
The constant evolution of technology, it can become outdated very quickly and you need to stay on top of the trends.
