We have partnered with growyze!

As a business focused on data, systems, and integrations for hospitality, we're always looking for operational tools that genuinely move the needle for the businesses we work with. growyze does exactly that, giving hospitality operators clear, real-time control over stock, costs, and margins at the operational level.

growyze offers a modern, and affordable stock and inventory management system built for the hospitality sector. Designed to be used by the whole team, it flags issues so you don’t lose profit and protects your revenue by stream-lining purchasing, stocktaking, recipe costing and automates invoice reconciliation.

XMS BI is a business intelligence product that turns data into accessible, high-value operational insight. Giving you a real-time view of how your business is performing, from sales and margins to costs and targets, so you can make faster, smarter decisions.
Together, these two products form something neither could offer alone: a joined-up view of the hospitality business, from stock room to bottom line.

We sat down with both teams to hear what the partnership means to them, and what it means for their customers:

Q1. How does XMS BI elevate what growyze already offers?

growyze said “At growyze, we focus on getting the operational layer right - capturing stock and purchasing data at a level of detail and accuracy that reflects what’s actually happening day-to-day. That depth is critical, because without it, any reporting or insight built on top becomes unreliable.

What XMS BI does is extend that foundation - connecting that high-quality operational data with the wider business and adding context. Importantly, this isn’t about layering multiple systems for the sake of it. It’s about combining best-in-class capabilities at each layer rather than trying to force everything into a single, simplified solution that often lacks depth.
The result is a more accurate and more useful view of the business.”

Q2. What does implementing XMS BI into your product mean for your customers and how will they benefit?

growyze stated “For customers, it means they don’t have to compromise between control and visibility. All-in-one systems often try to do everything, but in practice that can come at the cost of detail at the operational level or clarity at the reporting level.
By separating those layers properly - with growyze focusing on accurate, granular operational data, and XMS BI providing connected insight - customers get both.

They maintain strong control over day-to-day operations, while also gaining a broader, more reliable view of performance across the business.

That combination leads to better decisions, because it’s based on both depth and context.”

Q3. Why did three rocks want to partner with an inventory system like growyze?

three rocks said “Partnering with growyze made sense, the cultural alignment, the working chemistry was right, and the products complement each other perfectly. growyze excels at inventory management; XMS BI brings the data analysis layer on top. Together they give hospitality operators something neither product could offer alone: a joined-up view of their business.”

Q4. What are the key XMS BI features that growyze customers will gain access to?

three rocks stated “The big shift is moving from data collection to data understanding. growyze already does a brilliant job of capturing inventory data, XMS BI will come in and automatically analyse it and turn it into useful, actionable outputs for the whole team. Operators can see exactly where ingredients are being used, where wastage is happening and on which shifts. But it goes further than stock data alone: by integrating inventory with sales data, XMS BI joins up systems that have always sat in silos, giving customers a complete picture of their business in one place.”

Q5. Can you give us an example of where XMS BI will make a real difference?

Growyze said “Margin performance across a multi-site group is a good example.
In many cases, operators can see that margins differ between sites, but understanding why is more difficult.

All-in-one systems often surface high-level differences, but lack the depth in the underlying data to explain them properly.

By combining detailed, consistent operational data with broader performance context, XMS BI allows operators to go deeper - understanding not just where the differences are, but what’s driving them.

That’s where real operational improvement happens.”

Q6. How does XMS BI help with the current struggles faced in the hospitality industry?

three rocks said “Most operators aren't short on data, they're short on time to make sense of it. XMS BI solves this by automatically gathering, processing and analysing data in the background, providing insights that managers can act on straight away without needing to dig through spreadsheets. Alerts flag issues before they become costly, which matters more than ever in the current climate where every pound counts.

Good data analysis allows operators to join the dots and notice more than they did before. For example, your numbers might show that wastage is consistently lower on certain shifts, combine that with who was working and you can identify what they're doing differently, train the rest of the team accordingly, and start saving money across the board. That kind of insight is simply not visible from a spreadsheet alone.”

Q7. What’s something you’re excited about in the hospitality industry right now?

Growyze said “There’s a shift towards more considered use of technology.
Rather than relying on a single system to do everything, operators are starting to prioritise quality at each layer, making sure the data captured at the operational level is accurate and the insights built on top are genuinely meaningful.

It’s a move away from convenience-led decisions, towards systems that actually reflect how hospitality businesses operate.

That shift towards greater depth, accuracy, and connected understanding is where significant value will be created over the next few years.”

three rocks said “AI, and I know everyone's saying it, but the potential it holds for hospitality is exciting. Used well, it creates real opportunities for front-of-house and back-of-house: personalising the customer experience, freeing up staff to focus on service by automating repetitive tasks, and giving management tools that save time. Take scheduling, something that can eat up hours every week. AI can look at booking patterns, expected covers and historical data, and produce a smarter rota in minutes.

It is also exciting in data analysis. AI allows you to ask questions of your data that you simply couldn't before, finding patterns, making predictions and generating insight at a scale and speed that changes how operators run their businesses. We are using this more and more in the building and output of XMS BI.”

Hospitality operators don't just want to control costs, they want to understand their business deeply and act with confidence. That's what this partnership is built for. We’re really excited for all that lies ahead through our partnership, how by working together we can improve the service we offer to our clients.
