Challenge

Pizza Hut is a business that has evolved significantly over the years, new leadership, changing teams, and developing systems. To keep pace with that, they needed a technology partner who could provide continuity, maintain institutional knowledge, and offer strategic input without a conflict of interest.



Approach

For 15 years we’ve acted as an extension of the Pizza Hut team, a technology consultant that gives honest advice, even when that advice doesn't generate work for us, but offering strategic technology advice

On the digital commerce side, we built and continue to manage Pizza Hut's online ordering platform, pay-at-table solution, and kiosks. These aren't peripheral channels — they sit at the heart of how Pizza Hut trades. For the past six years we've also handled their data reconciliation — tracking funds from customer wallets through to the bank, flagging discrepancies, and managing tronc calculations and payments. We maintain the integration layer connecting Pizza Hut's systems across their entire estate, aggregating data from every IT system in every restaurant to deliver the business insights needed to thrive in an ever-changing market.



Outcome

Today, 75% of Pizza Hut's sales flow through platforms built and maintained by three rocks. Financial reconciliation that once required significant manual effort is now straightforward and reliable. And despite years of internal change at Pizza Hut, the technology has remained stable because the people behind it have too.
